Abstract of the Paper
With the support of Industry 4.0 technologies, service enterprises can develop new service products and respond to customer needs more quickly. This study constructs a theoretical framework integrating the four-dimensional elements of "people-technology-resources-environment," with a special focus on the moderating effect of technological diversity. It systematically examines the synergistic evolution mechanism between technology adoption and service innovation among Korean service enterprises in the context of Industry 4.0 transformation. The findings are as follows:
Customer participation and technological resources can directly affect the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies;
Technological compatibility has no significant impact on the adoption of related technologies but can positively promote service innovation;
Technological upgrading pressure plays a key role in both the adoption of related technologies and innovation;
Technological diversity can moderate the path relationships between internal and external elements of enterprises.
This study innovatively constructs a four-dimensional integrated model, providing a new theoretical framework and analytical perspective for academia and service industry practitioners to systematically examine the mechanisms of enterprise-level Industry 4.0 technology adoption and service innovation paths.
