New Landmark Achievement in the "Double First-Class" Initiative: Collaborative Paper by Wang Xiaowen Accepted for Publication in JME, a Top Journal in Macroeconomics

Recently, the collaborative paper "Production and Inventory Dynamics Under Ambiguity Aversion" by Dr. Wang Xiaowen from the Institute of Chinese Economic Research at Liaoning University has been accepted by the Journal of Monetary Economics, a world-class international journal in macroeconomics. The co-authors of this paper include Professor Luo Yulei from the University of Hong Kong, Professor Nie Jun from Wuhan University, and Professor Eric Young from the University of Virginia.

This paper is the 9th paper published in recent years by the faculty members of the School of Economics at Liaoning University, following previous publications in international top journals in various fields of economics, such as one paper by Yu Miaojie in the Review of Economic Studies (RESTAT), one paper each by Yu Miaojie and Yin Lijuan in the Journal of Development Economics (JDE), one paper by Chen Feng in the Journal of Public Economics (JPubE), one paper by Gao Ming in the Journal of Economic Management and Strategy (JEMS), one paper by Yang Zhe in the Journal of Labor Economics (JLE), one paper by He Chao in the Journal of Economic Theory (JET), and one paper by Zhou Yu in the Journal of Human Resources (JHR). It represents another landmark achievement in the "Double First-Class" initiative, indicating that the "Double First-Class" construction of the economics discipline at Liaoning University has achieved a new breakthrough.

The Journal of Monetary Economics, founded in 1975 and published by Elsevier, is one of the core journals in the field of economics. It is published ten times a year. The articles cover significant research contributions to a wide range of modern macroeconomic topics, including empirical, methodological, and theoretical research findings.

Introduction to the Author

Wang Xiaowen is a newly recruited high-end talent of Liaoning University and an assistant professor at the Institute of Chinese Economic Research. She graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 2017, obtaining a Ph.D. in Economics. Her research fields mainly include macroeconomics and international economics. Other research achievements of hers have been accepted or published in Annals of Economics and Finance, etc.
