Abstract: The revitalization of Northeast China in the new era is poised for takeoff. The private economy is a crucial force in the development of the market economy. Vigorously encouraging and supporting the growth of the private economy is a necessary measure for the Northeast region to drive economic growth, stimulate innovation, promote opening up to the outside world, and achieve breakthroughs in comprehensive revitalization. In recent years, the development of the private economy in the Northeast region has accelerated significantly, but there still exists a gap in terms of enterprise scale and overall strength compared to more developed provinces. The private economy in the Northeast region also faces constraints in terms of institutional mechanisms, economic structure, opening up and cooperation, and ideological concepts. To break through the development bottleneck of the private economy in the Northeast region, efforts should focus on addressing these shortcomings. Firstly, reforming institutional mechanisms by advancing the construction of a market economy system based on principles of openness, fairness, and justice, treating all types of market entities equally in terms of factor acquisition and market access. Secondly, optimizing industrial structure by undertaking the transfer of industries from eastern regions, forming a model of synergistic development between state-owned and private economies. Thirdly, expanding opening up to the outside world by accelerating the construction of a comprehensive land and sea passage in Northeast China, promoting the establishment of the "China-Russia-Mongolia Economic Corridor" and the "China-Japan-South Korea Free Trade Zone." Lastly, transforming ideological concepts by using the rule of law as a starting point and promoting the integrated construction of a business-friendly environment through digitization and transparency.
