Digital Trade Promoting High-quality Development of China's Trade

Abstract:Digital trade has now become an important factor in the high-quality development of China's trade and economy. The Chinese government attaches great importance to the development of digital trade and has gradually formed in practice a policy framework with distinct levels and a clear logic. Global digital trade is developing rapidly. China's digital trade takes the lead in the world, but the digitalization of its service trade is not sufficient. The world has not yet formed a common framework of digital trade rules. To promote the high-quality development of trade and trade digitalization, China should carry out the new infrastructure of the digital economy and push the vigorous development of the digital economy. On the other hand, China should improve the mechanism for mutual promotion between economy and trade and strengthen the role of digital economy in stimulating digital trade through major measures such as the digital trade pilot zone and the Belt and Road Initiative.
