Miao Dai is an assistant professor at the China Economic Research Institute (CERI), Liaoning University, and holds a PhD in economics from McGill University, Canada. Before joining Liaoning University, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Spatial Economics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and a Candidate Fellow at the Tinbergen Institute, and previously a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Montpellier and the Center for Environmental Economics – Montpellier (CEE-M), France. His research interests include environmental and resource economics, industrial organization, and international trade, and his work has been published in international journals such as the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management and Environmental Modelling & Assessment. He has also served as a referee for journals including the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Resource and Energy Economics, Environment and Resource Economics, Canadian Journal of Economics, China Economic Review, Environment and Development Economics, and Applied Economics.
