Xu Rui is an assistant professor at China Economic Research Institute. She obtained a Ph.D. degree in economics from Syracuse Univerisity (2023), a master’s degree in economics from the University of Texas at Austin (2017), a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from Baylor University, and a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Sichuan University (2013). Her fields of interest are labor economics, the economics of education, and applied microeconometrics.
